How To Find Real-Time Leads Inside LinkedIn Groups

One of the (many) reasons I love teaching others how to utilize LinkedIn to generate sales leads is that this social network makes it so easy to achieve.

Case in point: Despite massive (and quite unpopular, judging by the feedback) changes to LinkedIn Professional Groups, they still remain one of the best places on the network to find your ideal clients or customers.

The reason is simple – by their very nature, LinkedIn Professional Groups gather like-minded professionals in one place.

LinkedIn Groups = Virtual Cocktail Parties

Think of it like a virtual dinner party or expo hall, where the audience is filtered and sorted ahead of time, then giving assigned tables to gather around.

As I mentioned in a previous post, you can utilize LinkedIn’s powerful internal Search engine to find thousands of Groups where your ideal prospects or potential customers are gathered, based around commonalities like Job Title, Industry type, Location or other areas of interest.

You can also search within individual Groups to find targeted prospects or potential clients.

Today, I want to show you how, once you’ve joined the Groups where your top prospects are hanging out, how to find real-time conversations and discussions inside those Groups. And once you do, those discussions become golden opportunities to engage potential customers and demonstrate your knowledge, credibility and expertise at the same time.
